A Quick Guide To Web Development for the iPhone/iPod Touch
Posted on | April 12, 2008
Last week we decided to explore iPhone/iPod Touch web capabilities into more depth. We did some research and decided to do a small web app, which would let its users view webcams and prerecorded videos. During the process we stumbled upon some great resources I would like to share with you.
- iUI - little JavaScript and CSS bundle that makes developing iPhone web apps easy.
- iPhone ajax Webcam
- Put Your Content in My Pocket
- iPhone Webclip Icons
- JoeHewitt.com (iphone.facebook.com creator)
- The Complete Guide to iPod, Apple TV and iPhone Video Formats
- Apple iPhone Web Developer’s documentation
- you will need to register :(
We learned that all the building blocks are out there, we just need to combine them to get what you want. In the next few weeks we will play around with iPhone’s official SDK and see how much fun we can have with that :) Anyone has some spare time to join the party?
