Kill Your Presentation in 12 (Easy) Steps

Posted on | May 20, 2008

After quite a while I found the time to browse around Slideshare. I found this great presentation on what you should definitely do if you want to create a lousy presentation. I felt I needed to share it with my colleagues and friends :) Enjoy!

If you are looking for great resources about making presentations I suggest you visit Presentation Zen.

    Hey, Tomaz.

I've been busy too. I'm taking longer than I'd like to post and comment.

Well, thx for your thoughts. I think you have good points about the comments in two languages and subjects that would be of interest of one specific language. Anyway, I think I'm going to stay in this format for a while and maybe, in near future, I can split the blog in two.

Thank you for my Funky Link! You are already a Effective Link.

Hey Pedro. Sorry for the late comment :)

I think it is ok to have a blog in both languages, but you might get problems when languages will start to mix up in the comments.

The topics you write about are of interest to both Portuguese and English speaking people so you might think of splitting the blog into two and focus on what is interesting for your readers. I guess that sometimes you will have some Brazil specific content which will not be of much interest to the English speaking users.

    Just a few thoughts.

p.s.: You've earned your place in the Funky Links ;)

    Thanks, again!

And thanks for the suggestion I'm sure it will help me a lot.

I hope you can visit my blog any of these days, I decided to write in English too. If I may ask, what do you think? Is it good to have two languages every post? Would it be better of to have two separate blogs? I am not sure.

    Bye.

Hi Pedro! Well the presentation speaks for itself. It's a great one and worth embedding ;)

If you are just starting to blog I suggest you check out Zemanta's (www.zemanta.com) plugin. It will help you work your way to more interesting content.

    Good luck with your blog.

Tomaz, thank you for your kind words in the post and for embedding my presentation. I am a newbie blogger, still have lots to learn about it. I invite you to visit my (humble) blog (getting better), it's in Portuguese but very soon I'll be posting in English too.
