The Internet of Things

Approximately a month ago I had the chance to listen to a very inspiring talk by Alexandra Sonsino from tinker.it. Her talk really made me think about how the things that surround us could be very well connected to the virtual (meta) world we experience while online in both directions - as sensors and as interfaces.
